HI AGAIN!!

Hi there, I'm back from Cameron Highlands!! The trip was great!!! More please? heehee...

Our trip lasted for 3 days and 2 nights...Well, we did a lot of visiting but there won't be any nice photos from me coz my camera isn't in good shape... :( ...but there will be nice pics from my friends photos on facebook! Hope they don't mind...heehee...

Ahh....my trial exam is finally almost over! I'll be quite free at the moment. :p I guess I'm also a little excited coz' we're going on a trip with our church members to Cameron Highlands!!!! We will be visiting a few churches on the way...the Ipoh Church, Batu Lapan Church and er...the list goes on. ;p .................................................................................................................................

A SATURDAY....8 August 2009....

My! What a Saturday! Today, my little sister's got a "Hari Anugerah" in her school. She's involved in the "perbarisan" and choral speaking about a legendary knight called 'Lochinvar'. So we were up early and mom sent my sis to school. I stayed home revising for my PMR trial exam this coming Friday. Well, wish me luck!! ;p

Later, we fetched Gill around 10am and went to take our breakfast at Super Tanker,Lip Sin as usual. Around 2:15pm, we were off to church! :) I learnt a lot during our junior youth RE lesson. I love RE lessons a lot. They let me ponder and reflect on myself, let's me know what God wants me to do. Sometimes, I realize, that God even answers my questions through sermons and RE lessons. It makes me glad, knowing that He is always by my side.

Around 4pm, our RE lesson ends. The sermon downstairs led by our resident preacher (Pr Zechariah) ends also. Actually, we are having an Evangelical Meeting in church today but I'm not going to be present. :( There goes another chance for me to bring my friends to church! Well the reason is that I'm going to attend my older cousin's wedding at the May Garden Palace Restaurant.

Well, the food there was OK...we had steamed fish, bla bla and the famous shark fin soup as well.. Sorry sharkie...

WAAAAA....!!!!!!!!

Ohh!!! It just reminds me how hard it was for me to complete my (ek..hem..) masterpiece!!!!! Well first of all, a few friends and I were chosen to enter a competition and we were given a few themes. I don't remember what they were...coz' this actually happened a few months ago. I came up with an idea (which may be boring to some..) and started on it. When I finally hand it in...the teacher did not approve. :( Ahh... too bad...but never mind. Maybe next time ya? ;) Any comments? :)

FUNNY ISN'T IT?

Funny how a RM 100 "looks" so big when you take it to church, but so small when you take it to the mall.

Funny how long it takes to serve God for an hour, but how quickly a team plays 60 minutes of basketball.

Funny how we can't think of anything to say when we pray, but don't have difficulty thinking of things to talk about to a friend.

Funny how we get thrilled when a football game goes into extra innings, but we complain when a sermon is longer than the regular time.

Funny how people want to get a front seat in any game or concert, but scramble to get the back seat at church services.

Funny how hard it is to read a chapter in the Bible, but how easy it is to read a 100 pages of a best-selling novel.

Funny how we need 2 or 3 weeks advance notice to fit a church event into our schedule, but can adjust our schedule for other events at the last moment.

Funny how hard it is for people to learn a simple gospel well enough to tell others, but how simple it is for the same people to understand and repeat gossip.

Funny how we believe what the newspaper says, but question what the Bible says.

Funny how everyone wants to go to heaven provided they do not have to believe, or think, or say, or do anything.

Funny how you can send a thousand "jokes" through e-mail and they spread like wild fire, but when you start sending messages regarding Jesus Christ, people think twice about sharing.

Well, I got this from my RE Y3B2 book...but it does wake us up doesn't it?

Funny isn't it? Are you thinking? Are you laughing? Spread the Word and give thanks to God for He is good!! It's not WHAT you have in your life that counts, but WHO you have in your life.
